Samsung unveils Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition that will be given to every athlete in Paris

Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic partner Samsung has unveiled the Olympic edition of the new Galaxy Z Flip6, a money-can’t-buy edition of the device that’s been exclusively designed and customised for the 17,000 athletes competing in Paris.

Samsung, an Olympic sponsor for more than 30 years, will be offering the Olympic edition of the Galaxy Z flip 6 which now features Galaxy AI.

But only athletes competing at the Paris Olympics will be receiving it.

It is the first time Samsung has made its newest product available to athletes before it officially goes on sale around the world.

The Olympic Edition Galaxy Z Flip6 has a striking yellow colour that is decorated with the Olympic rings and Paralympic agitos in gold.

Samsung has also partnered with Parisian luxury Maison Berluti who designed Team France’s official uniforms for the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony, to come up with an exclusive flip suitcase that will come with each device.

“Samsung has pushed the boundaries of mobile technology in support of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and its athletes for nearly three decades,” said Stephanie Choi, EVP & Head of Marketing of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics.

“We are honoured to deliver our newest Galaxy innovation to the inspiring athletes of Paris 2024 — and give them the opportunity to experience the powerful and intelligent Galaxy Z Flip6 firsthand, even before its official market launch.

“We are excited to see how our technology opens up athletes’ Games-time experience like never before — from creating meaningful connections, to sharing and capturing lifelong memories while in Paris and beyond.”

The Galaxy Z Flip6 will help athletes enjoy new experiences and create incredible memories.
Onboard are several Galaxy AI communication features including live translation of calls, Interpreter which offers real time translations on the device and Composer which helps users write emails and social media posts.

To create unforgettable memories athletes can use the Galaxy AI on the Olympic Edition Z Flip6 and experience other features including instant slo-mo and Photo Assist that helps achieve a perfect photo with the correct sizing and framing every time.

For the first time ever, athletes will be able to bring the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition on to the podium at the Paris 2024 Olympics, so they are able to create their own memories of their medal success.
