Samsung hits new heights with the Odyssey G6 500Hz OLED gaming monitor

Samsung has launched the Odyssey OLED G6 – the company’s first 500Hz OLED gaming monitor – to elevate your gaming experience.

The 27-inch Odyssey OLED G6 comes six years after Samsung entered the global gaming monitor market and two years after producing its first OLED gaming displays and the company is once again pushing the boundaries of gaming performance for its customers.

“Samsung continues to lead the gaming monitor industry with breakthrough innovations that redefine how games are experienced,” said Neal Elliott, Acting Head of Pro-Display, Samsung Electronics Australia.

“With the Odyssey OLED G6, Samsung’s first 500Hz OLED gaming monitor, we are pushing gaming performance, visual quality and immersion to entirely new heights — delivering the next evolution of display technology for Australian gamers.”

The standout feature of the monitor is the 500Hz refresh rate and the superfast 0.03ms response time.

The monitor has a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 and, with all those features under the hood, it helps keep the game smooth, sharp and responsive even in the fastest and most intense action.

The monitor has a peak brightness of 1000 nits and include Samsung’s Glare Free technology so players can avoid any screen reflections so they can focus on the gameplay.

The OLED G6 is also protected with OLED Safeguard+ which is a feature to minimise the risk of burn-in even during prolonged use.

The Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 is also Pantone validated which means it offers super accurate colour reproduction and can display more than 2000 colours and more than 110 skin tone shades from Pantone’s library.

Combine that with the brilliant QD OLED display quality and gamers will enjoy lifelike visuals that brings their gaming worlds to life.

The 27 inch Odyssey OLED G6G60SF can be pre-ordered now via samsung.com/au and will be available nationwide from leading retailers from August.

It will be priced at $1699.
