Bose unveils it new range of headphones and earphones – and they’re all wireless

Bose has just unveiled its latest range of noise cancelling headphones and sports earphones which contain new audio technology for even better sound – and this time out they are all wireless.

The new products include the QuietComfort 35 headphones and the QuietControl 30 earphones along with the SoundSport and SoundSport Pulse earphones.

All of these premium Bose wireless headphones and earphones include NFC (near field communication) for easier touch-to-pair convenience with inline controls for your music and phone calls and voice alerts that tell the user about set-up, battery level and caller ID.

BOSE QUIETCOMFORT 35 – $499

The QC35 follows Bose’s prestigious line-up of noise cancelling headphones but now it has ditched the cable for a Bluetooth connection which has been custom engineered for wireless convenience and quality connection.

It has microphones inside and outside the earcups to measure the ambient noise and respond with an equal and opposite signal in less than a millisecond to cancel out the noise of the plane, the subway and the people around you.

Design-wise the QC35 has been refined for even greater comfort while the onboard rechargeable battery will run for 20 hours.

Simple control and navigations buttons are located conveniently on the right earcup and there is a cable included so the headphones can be used on a plane.

The QC35 is available in black or silver and will be in stores on June 15.

BOSE QUIETCONTROL 30 – $399

The QC30 integrates a neckband with a pair of earphones so users can wear them all day for their music and to make and receive calls.

The tiny earbuds integrate six microphones which help decide the amount of noise cancellation that’s required.

QC on this device stand for Quiet Control because users can actually control the level of noise cancellation so you can decide how much of the outside world you want to shut out.

An onboard rechargeable lithium-ion battery will run for 10 hours on a full charge – about the same life span as a full charged smartphone or tablet.

The QC30 will be available from mid-September.

SOUNDSPORT ($249) AND SOUNDSPORT PULSE ($299)

The Bose SoundSport earphones are designed not only to deliver great sound but also designed for comfort and stability while you’re exercising.

They are made of soft flexible silicone with an umbrella shape and an extended wing to lock them into place.

They are sweat and water-resistant and have an inline controller so you can control your music and your calls.

The SoundSport Pulse includes a heart-rate monitor which reads the blood flow in your ears to measure your pulse – a method that’s as accurate as wearing a chest strap monitor and more precise than a wrist-based system.

Battery life for the SoundSport is six hours while the SoundSport Pulse can run for up to five hours on a single charge.

The SoundSport earphones come in black, aqua and citron (yellow) will be in store from mid-September but the SoundSport Pulse will be available in power red and will go sale on June 15.
