Samsung releases compact system cameras with built-in wi-fi
Samsung has announced its first wi-fi enabled compact system cameras – the NX20 and the NX1000 – which combine quality with connectivity.
Each camera has interchangeable lenses to offer SLR quality and the slimmer body and convenience of a compact camera.
And with the added wi-fi feature, the NX20 and NX1000 make it easier to shoot, save and share your images.
The cameras’ wi-fi connection allows users to upload photos wirelessly to your computer and share pictures and videos on social networks like Facebook, Picasa, PhotoBucket and YouTube.
The wi-fi connection will also allow users to use their compatible Android smartphone as a remote viewfinder to make it easier to line up those difficult shots or self portraits.
SAMSUNG NX20 – $999
The NX20 has a 20.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor and has full high definition video recording capabilities.
The device also has a 3-inch AMOLED swivel display to allow photographers to shoot from any angle or position.
Also on board is a built-in electronic viewfinder to frame and gauge your images as well as a 1/8000 fast shutter.
SAMSUNG NX1000 – $749
The NX1000 has a slimmer body and more rounded edhes but still has most of the features you’ll find on the NX20 minus the swivel display and also has a 1/4000 fast shutter.
The device features Smart Filter 2.0 technology which allows users to apply styles and themes to their pictures.
