If you want to surprise your loved ones this Christmas with a unique and personalised gift, consider Apple’s iPhoto print products. But you better hurry.
Users can turn images from their own iPhoto library on their Mac, iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch into a photo book, calendar, card or print but the order has to be in by Monday, December 9 to have it completed by December 24.
And everything you need is right there within iPhoto that’s free with any Mac and a free app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch purchased after September 1, 2013. For older iOS devices – the iPhoto app is priced at $5.49.
It’s as easy as choosing the images you want within iPhoto, clicking share and then selecting book, card or calendar or choosing the Order Prints option.
With the Photo Book all you need to do is choose your group of pictures – maybe from a holiday or a significant event – and iPhoto can lay them out for you.
The design can include full bleed two page spreads to show off your panorama shots along with adjustable background colours, fonts and captions.
Books can be ordered as softcover or hardcover with the hardcover option including a photo-wrapped cover, matching dust jacket and protective sleeve.
If it’s Christmas cards you want, it’s just as easy to produce stunning results with a choice of excellent designs and, of course, your own pictures as the main feature.
Theses letterpress cards are created with 100 per cent cotton paper and come complete with matching envelopes to make your cards truly memorable.
A calendar is a gift that can keep on giving so why not create a 12 or 24-month calendar that can highlight family birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions.
These personalised calendars are just as easy to make as a Photo Book from your favourite pictures in iPhoto.
If it’s individual prints you’re after then Apple can come to the party as well to create pictures that can fit in your wallet or fill a wall.
Prints range in size from 10 x 15cm all the way up to 50cm by 76cm.
Pricing is determined by your choice of print job and quantity.
