Modern technology gives us many things.

HP’s OfficeJet X is so fast it’s in the Guinness Book of Records

hpx3HP’s new OfficeJet Pro X is so fast it has been recognised by the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s fastest desktop printer.

With speeds of up to 70 pages per minute (ppm), the HP OfficeJet Pro X is designed for home offices and small and medium businesses and has twice the speed of laser printers as well as half the cost.

The device achieves its high speeds thanks to HP’s new PageWide technology which can deliver four colours of pigment ink at once on a moving sheet of paper.

The print head remains stationary as the paper moves to not only increase speed but to also reduce noise.

The HP OfficeJet Pro X is also a qualified Energy Star product and has energy and waste saving features.

It uses up to 50 per cent less energy while the compatible HP 970 and HP 9712 ink cartridges creates 50 per cent less supply waste than similarly priced laser printers.

With its obvious speed, the HP OfficeJet X can also increase your productivity.

It has a standard 500-sheet main paper tray so there are fewer interruptions when pages are being printed so fast.

HP also released the OfficeJet Pro 251dw and OfficeJet Pro 276dw which also has 50 per cent lower running costs than a laser printer for medium businesses.
