ASUS reveals All-In-One Windows 8 touchscreen desktop PCs

ASUS has unveiled a new range of all-in-one Windows 8-ready desktop touchscreen PCs that are equally powerful for productivity and home entertainment.

The models include the ET2300 23-inch, ET2220 21.5-inch and the ET2701 27-inch.

They all have a frameless full high definition IPS-LED backlit 10-point touchscreen display with either a DVD or Blu-ray optical drive.

ET2300 ($1,599)

The ET2300 is a versatile device with a 23-inch screen that can be used in the regular upright position or folded flat parallel with the table.

This folded position makes it easier to engage with the touchscreen display for a hands-on experience with the touch-optimised Windows 8 operating system.

Powered by the Intel Core i7 processor, the ET2300 also includes WiDi to allow wireless screen sharing with compatible smart TVs and has two high-speed Thunderbolt ports and four USB 3.0 ports.

There’s also a HDMI input which means the device can also be hooked up to another HD display, gaming console or Blu-ray Disc player.

ET2220 ($999)

Also equipped with a 10-point touchscreen, the ET2220 has a photo-frame inspired design that can be tilted from 16 degrees to 45 degrees for comfortable viewing.

The ET2220 is powered by an i5 Intel Core processor and has four USB 3.0 ports along with HDMI connectivity.

On the audio side, the ASUS ET2220 includes SonicMaster technology for superior sound performance through its built-in 5W stereo speakers.

ET2701 ($2,199)

The big daddy of the ASUS group, the ET2701 has a 27-inch 10-point touchscreen LED display and the Intel 3^rd Gen i5 processor under the hood.

Apart from having an eye-catching display, the ET2701 also delivers precision, high quality audio output courtesy of the device’s finely tuned digital signal processor.

It also has an external subwoofer which provides deep bass response which makes browsing web sites, watching movies and listening to music a powerful experience.

The touchscreen can be linked to gaming consoles through its HDMI port and also has a built-in Blu-ray player.
