Songs for the Philippines released on iTunes to aid disaster relief

songsforphilippinesApple has launched an album of songs globally on iTunes with proceeds to benefit the Philippines disaster relief effort.

Songs for the Philippines contains 39 tracks from international acclaimed artists including U2, Michael Buble, Bob Dylan, Madonna, Kylie Minogue and even The Beatles.

And each and every one of the artists have agreed to donate their royalties to the rebuilding efforts following the devastation of super typhoon Haiyan.

Priced at $16.99, Songs for the Philippines can be purchased for yourself or as gifted to others.

If buying as a gift for other, Apple is encouraging others to do the same and start a chain reaction of giving.

It’s easy to gift the album. Simply click on the arrow next to the album price and you’ll see a drop down menu appear.

The top choice on this list is Gift This Album.
