Vodafone puts its money where its mouth is with 30-day network guarantee
Vodafone is putting its money where its mouth is and offering its new post-paid consumers and business users a 30-day money-back network satisfaction guarantee.
An industry first, Vodafone’s guarantee will apply for the first 30 days and allow customers to cancel their contract and refund any monthly access fees and monthly handset instalments if they are not happy with Vodafone’s network.
This 30-day Vodafone guarantee is also available to business customers with up to nine connections.
On top of the network guarantee, Vodafone is also offering one month of unlimited data for use within Australia for new customers signing up to a 12 or 24-month contract.
“As smartphones have become an essential tool in our everyday lives, we believe consumers deserve assurance that they’ll have a great network experience where they live, work and play,” said Vodafone chief marketing officer Loo Fun Chee.
“And if they don’t, they should be able to walk away no questions asked. We know this is a pain point for consumers and businesses, and one we are committed to addressing.”
Vodafone’s guarantee shows the company has plenty of confidence in its network.
“We want Australians to know they no longer have to settle for a network that doesn’t work for them,” Ms Chee said.
“Our new guarantee is an invitation for Australians who may be feeling unsatisfied with their current provider to experience everything Vodafone has to offer.”
Vodafone’s investment in its 4G network has paid off following the OpenSignal report showing Vodafone is tied with Telstra in terms of 4G network availability.
The company has completed more than 3,300 network site upgrades in 2015 with Vodafone’s 4G network now within reach of 22 million Australians.
