LG extends its Ultra HD TV range with new sizes

lg84ud6LG will extend its line-up of Ultra HD 4K televisions with 55-inch and 65-inch models to join the original 84-inch model in the range.

The smaller ultra definition screen will have the same 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 which is four times the full high definition 1920 x 1080 resolution.

All of LG’s Ultra HD models – the 84-inch, 65-inch and 55-inch – will be showcased during the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next week.

Onboard the LG ultra definition TVs is the Triple XD Engine – a picture processing technology that provides sharp and vivid images and makes the best use of the more than 8 million pixels on the screen.

Also included is the Resolution Upscaler Plus which can take content from a lower resolution and render it in near 4K quality.

The LG Ultra HD TVs will now be available on 84-inch, 65-inch and 55-inch models

And of course the LG ultra definition TVs are connected smart TVs which can access content and apps online and browse the web.

The TVs are also equipped with Cinema 3D technology for viewing 3D content with passive lightweight glasses.

LG Ultra HD televisions have four times the resolution of a full high definition TV
