From next week you’ll be seeing popular actor Ewan McGregor on LG TV ads to promote the company’s new smart and ultra high definition televisions.
The Hollywood star was in Australia in May to launch the new LG 2013 TV range and also filmed the ads we will be seeing from July 15.
The commercials show McGregor looking up the definition of television in the dictionary.
He then explains there are more than 8.3 million pixels in the UHD TV before signing off – with LG Ultra HDTV “it’s television – redefined”.
The ads will run in 15 and 30 second versions and will run until August 31 on Channel 9, Channel 10 and Pay TV MCN channels.
