Bose launches Smart Soundbar 900 to elevate your movie experience at home
Bose has unveiled the new Smart Soundbar 900 which incorporates Dolby Atmos to improve your music-listening and movie-viewing experience.
The Smart Soundbar 900 uses proprietary Bose spatial technologies and elevates Dolby Atmos content by separating the audio from instruments, dialogue and effects and placing them around the room.
The soundbar can place and pin distinct sound to the right and left where there are no speakers as well as creating the overhead sound show so you’ll think helicopters are hovering above you while actors can run past you and not just across your screen.
Non Dolby Atmos content is elevated to sound even better with horizontal special effects while Bose’s TrueSpace technology looks after the vertical experience and remixes signals to add height without having the need for a ceiling speaker.
The Bose QuietPort technology also delivers with solid bass performance and zero distortion even when played at high volume.
The AdaptIQ technology can also optimise the Smart Soundbar 900 to perform in any space despite furnishings or system placement interference.
The Bose Smart Soundbar 900 measures 5.8cm high, just over 10cm deep and is 104cm long.
It has an oval shaped design and a wraparound metal grille and can easily fit under televisions 50- inch or larger.
The Smart Soundbar 900 connects with one cable to your TV with HDMI eARC.
There is also wi-fi and Bluetooth onboard so you can easily pair a phone or a tablet and bring in Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa for built-in voice control.
The Bose Smart Soundbar 900 replaces the Bose Smart Soundbar 700 in the line-up and will be priced at $1399.95 when it goes on sale on April 11.
