The Best Movies You’ve Never Seen – this week we watched Sully starring Tom Hanks

The movie tells the story of the Miracle on the Hudson – when US Airways captain Chesley Sullenberger lands an A320 on the Hudson River on January 15, 2009 after losing both engines on take-off after a bird strike.

Fun fact: Stephen also happened to be on the Universal Studios backlot on a tour while they were filming the water rescue scenes with the plane’s fuselage in huge water tank in front of a giant blue screen.
