The 1965 film starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plumber tells the story of Maria who arrives from the abbey in Salzburg to be the stand-in governess for Captain Von Trapp’s seven children.
Many consider this film to be the best movie musical of all time – Stephen has watched it numerous times and Trevor watches it for the first time.
It was actually a discussion about this movie on the Two Blokes Talking Tech podcast and Stephen’s disbelief that Trevor had never actually seen The Sound of Music that sparked the very idea for this podcast.
