The Best Movies You’ve Never Seen – Superman

Easy miss, I’ve got you. You’ve got me? Who’s got you? This week on The Best Movies You’ve Never Seen podcast we’re watching Superman starring Christopher Reeve, Marlon Brando and Gene Hackman and released in 1978.

This was the first big screen outing of Superman – the legendary comic book hero – and it was a huge production with an all-star cast.

It tells the story of Kal-El – the only survivor of the planet Krypton – who comes to Earth and find he possesses superpowers.

He is raised by the Kent family in Smallville before becoming a mild-mannered reporter for the Daily Planet in the bustling city of Metropolis.

But he soon swoops into action to save the day.

Stephen can remember seeing this movie in the cinemas and has since seen it numerous times while Trevor has never seen it.

We go through the memorable scenes and share some interesting facts, behind the scenes tidbits, trivia, fact v fiction and other things you don’t know about the film.
