Telstra finally unveils iPhone 4S plans and pricing

Two days out from the iPhone 4S release on Friday, Telstra has finally released its plans and pricing.

Telstra also announced it will also start taking pre-orders for the iPhone 4S online from today.

Plans start at $59 a month all the way up to the $129 unlimited plans with unlimited calls, texts and 3GB of data.  

“We’re delighted to bring the highly anticipated iPhone 4S to our customers on Australia’s largest and fastest national mobile network,” said Warwick Bray, executive director, Telstra Mobile.

“We know customers will love the speed and coverage available on the Telstra Mobile Network as they enjoy all the new features of iPhone 4S.”

The $59 Freedom Connect plan offers $550 worth of call and MMS value with unlimited text and 1.5GB data. The iPhone 4S will cost an additional $4 (16GB), $8 (32GB) or $13 (64GB) per month. On this plan the iPhone 4 8GB will be available for $0 upfront.

The $79 plan offers  $800 value, unlimited text, 2GB data and the 16GB iPhone 4S free or $4 for the 32GB model and an extra $9 a month for the 64GB version.

Moving up to the $99 plan there’s $1200 value, unlimited text, 2.5GB data and the 16GB and 32GB for $0 upfront and the 64GB model for an additional $5 a month.

The $129 plan has unlimited calls, unlimited text, 3GB data and 16GB and 32GB free or $5 a month for the 64GB iPhone 4S.

Telstra will open all its stores at 8am on Friday to allow customers to sign up for their iPhone 4S plans.

Customers can also head to to pre-order the iPhone 4S and have it delivered to their door.
