Samsung Galaxy S II coming to Telstra on July 26

Samsung’s smash hit smartphone – the Galaxy S II – will be available for Telstra customers on the Next G network from July 26.

The thin and light Android device has a 4.3-inch super AMOLED screen and sold more than three million units in the first two months of sale worldwide.

Telstra’s Samsung Galaxy S II plans start at $20 a month for 24 months on the $59 Freedom Connect plan which includes $550 worth of calls, unlimited texts and 1.5GB of data.  

The Samsung Galaxy S II is just 8.49mm thick, has an 8 megapixel camera which can shoot full high definition video and is powered by a dual core 1.2Ghz processor.

The Samsung Galaxy S II comes to the Telstra Next G network on July 26“The Telstra Next G network allows Samsung GALAXY S II customers to enjoy the mobile internet at its best,” said Andrew Volard, Director Telstra Mobile Product.

“Customers can access faster download speeds, enjoy video with less buffering and connect through social networks with ease.”

Business customers can get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy S II for $15 a month on the 24 month $79 Business Mobile Maximiser plan which includes $800 worth of eligible calls, unlimited texts and 2GB of data.
