If you’re a Telstra customer using a BlackBerry you can now download apps and charge them to your monthly bill.

This new option makes it easier for users to not only download and pay for their app but to also purchase in-app options like additional game levels as well.

There are more than four million downloads from BlackBerry App World everyday with categories including games, social networking and entertainment.

Telstra is the first carrier in Australia to offer this payment option.

If you are a Telstra BlackBerry customer here’s how to change your payment option.

1. In BlackBerry App World click on Payment Options

2. Log in using your BlackBerry ID

3. To pay for apps using Carrier Billing, then select Bill Through Telstra and click next.

4. Now all apps you purchase will appear on your Telstra bill.

Other payment alternatives with BlackBerry App World are PayPal and credit card.
