LG has revealed two new wearable wireless audio products ahead of next week’s Consumer Electronics Show that provide an all-new experience for listening and watching your favourite content on the go.
The LG Tone Studio and Tone Free introduce a new level of wearable sound and will be among LG’s new products that will be on show at CES in Las Vegas.
The Tone Studio (HBS-W120) is a personal wearable speaker system with four speakers – two full range speakers on top and two vibrating speakers on the bottom.
These combine to create a personal surround sound experience while watching movies or playing a game or just streaming your music.
It has been designed in collaboration with DTS for realistic theatre quality sound and also has Hi-Fi DAC (digital to analog convertor) for high quality sound.
And with Dual Play onboard it’s possible to connect two Tone Studio wearable speakers to share the sound from a single source.
The LG Tone Free come with wireless earbuds that can be recharged whenever they are resting inside the neck band.
The neck band provides not only a charging station but also a secure place to store the earbuds.
They can also be used for making and receiving calls with the neck band providing vibration alerts.
Tone Free can also be controlled with voice commands so it’s not only wire-free but also hands-free as well.
“LG has a rich legacy of innovating in the wearable audio market, and our products have become the standard by which all other earphones are judged,” said Michael Park, vice president of Innovative Personal Devices Business Division at LG Electronics.
“We are committed to leading the way in this fast-moving market by developing exciting new products which appeal to every music-loving and convenience-seeking individual.”
