Kaspersky signs on as new Manly major sponsor

The Manly Sea Eagles are near the top of the National Rugby League table and have just received a mid-season with a new major sponsor.

Kaspersky Lab, the international IT security company, will be emblazoned across the Sea Eagles’ jerseys when they take on South Sydney at Brookvale Oval tomorrow.

One of the most recognisable names in internet security software, Kaspersky Lab provides PC protection against viruses, hackers, spam and other online threats. 

“To attract such an international group, which employs more than 2,300 highly qualified specialists worldwide in 29 countries with 300 million users, is a massive salute to the game and the iconic Sea Eagles brand,” said Sea Eagles chairman Scott Penn.

“It is a partnership that will assist the Kaspersky Lab product get instant recognition in Australia.”

The partnership will span the remainder of the 20111 season and the entire 2012 season with an option to renew a long-term deal.
