A third multiplayer map pack will be released for Call of Duty: Black Ops players on June 28.

Annihilation features four brand new online multiplayer maps – Hangar 18, Drive-In, Silo, Hazard – and an all-new Zombie experience.

The content pack will be available first to Xbox 360 players on June 28 while PlayStation 3 Call of Duty: Black Ops players have to wait a month.

Since Call of Duty: Black Ops was released in November and set entertainment records for the biggest release of all time.

Players have already enjoyed the first two multiplayer map packs – First Strike and Escalation.

Now Annihilation takes the experience even further with four maps and a zombie experience.

Hangar 18 is a medium size map that takes place in the controversial Area 51 and features a lot of clues that play up all the conspiracy theories about this mysterious military installation.

Silo is set in a Russian underground nuclear missile silo construction site and is one of the largest maps ever produced for Black Ops and, with some many interconnecting paths, requires strategic play for success.

Drive-In is a smaller map which imitates the style of the hugely popular Nuketown map in Black Ops with a central open area and zones for close quarter battles as well.

Hazard is set on a resort golf course and caters for snipers with a lot of long range opportunities on the fairways while close quarter “run and gunners” can battle around the edges.

The new Shangri-La Zombie map features a mysterious setting and offers new weapons and escape hatches and interesting paths to get around the map and avoid the lurching living dead.
