Do you think gamers go to IKEA? They will now thanks to a new range of gaming range furniture and accessories developed by IKEA in collaboration with Republic of Gamers (ROG).

There are more than 2.5 billion gamers worldwide with that number is growing rapidly so naturally IKEA thought it was the ideal time to create a range of products to suit these customers.

There are more than 30 products, covering furniture like gaming desks, chairs and a draw unit along with accessories like a mug holder, a mouse bungee, neck pillow and a ring light.

The IKEA range has a selection of gaming desks and chairs at different price points to satisfy different customers and their needs.

IKEA partnered with Republic of Gamers – a sub brand of ASUS – to come up with the high quality and innovative hardware and products gamers want.

IKEA also tasked themselves coming up with products that were both functional and affordable.
The other challenge was finding designs and colours to blend gaming into the home.

“At IKEA, our aim is to create a better everyday life for everyone,” says Amanda Grant, Home Furnishing Business Leader for IKEA Australia.

“We’re constantly exploring the different ways people live and how we can enhance that.

“With millions of gamers across the country, we’re excited to be able to continue our exploration to offer affordable, high-performing products and complete solutions for all gamers.”

Kris Huang, General Manager of the ASUS Gaming Gear and Accessory Business Unit said: “Gamers globally know and love the ROG brand, and they trust it to deliver the most exciting gaming innovations in the market.

“Our new partnership with the experts at IKEA will allow ROG to find new and interesting ways to delight gamers in and around the home.”
