PlayStation 3 players will finally be able to download the Call of Duty Black Ops latest Escalation map pack on June 10 (June 11 in Australia).

The release of the map pack was originally delayed because of the PlayStation Network outage.

Xbox 360 players have had the maps since early May while PS3 users were out of play for nearly a month waiting for the PSN to be restored.

Earlier this week Activision confirmed the map pack was pushed back because of the PlayStation Network issues.

There was no date given at the time but Activision has since confirmed June 10 as the release date.

There will be a double XP weekend to celebrate the Escalation map pack for PS3 platers.

The four new maps in Escalation will be Zoo, Convoy, Hotel and Stockpile along with the new Zombie map – Call of the Dead.

Zoo is set against the backdrop of an abandoned Russian zoo.

In Convoy, players are thrust into action at the site of an ambushed US military convoy with tension at an all-time high.

For Hotel players are transported to do battle against the enemy on the rooftop of a luxury Cuban hotel and casino in Havana.

With Stockpile the action takes place in a remote Russian farm town which harbours a few secrets including a missile facility.
