Modern technology gives us many things.

TCL reveals NXTWEAR G smart glasses and new MOVETIME Family Watch 2

TCL has unveiled a range of new smart products at Mobile World Congress 2021 including its NXTWEAR G wearable display glasses, an outdoor 5G CPE and the MOVETIME Family Watch 2.

“Some of TCL’s biggest strengths are the breadth of its vision and creative capabilities, both of which have never been as evident as they are at Mobile World Congress 2021, where we have several products that enhance the human experience,” said Aaron Zhang, CEO at TCL Communication.

“By adding value to key existing and future products with Multi-Screen Collaboration, TCL bridges software and hardware gaps across smartphones, tablets and TVs, curating a symphony of experiences that seamlessly enhance the day-to-day lives of its customers.”

With the TCL NXTWEAR G wearable display glasses it is like having a cinema you can take anywhere.

It provides an immersive way to enjoy your content and games when you’re at home on the move or on your commute.

The glasses have a foldable frameless design and offer a comfortable fit so you can watch movies for hours on end.

On the design side, they have a stylish reflective deep black exterior.

The glasses plug into the USB C port of your mobile device, tablet or laptop to create a fuss free watching environment that’s powered by the device you already own.

There is no charging required so you can grab them and go and simply plug them in to start watching your video.

TCL is a pioneer in displays and it has incorporated this technology into the NXTWEAR G wearable display glasses.

it has dual 1080p high definition Sony FHD micro OLED panels which are positioned to recreate home theatre proportions so it feels like you’re watching a 140 inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

NXTWEAR G is compatible with more than 100 smartphones along with hybrid 2-in-1 devices and laptops from all major manufacturers.

It will be available in Australia from next month. Pricing is yet to be confirmed.

TCL’s new multi-screen collaboration will make it easy for TCL smartphone users to work seamlessly with Windows 10 devices to easily share, edit and control content on their smart phone from their laptop screen.

The upcoming TCL 20 Pro 5G smartphone will be one of the first devices that will enable this collaboration.

That means it will be possible to keep your phone in your bag while your laptop has easy access to the phone’s files and photos, Android apps, a shared clipboard and a range of other functionalities.

It’s now possible to just focus on one screen at a time thanks to the shared screen experience.

The TCL 20 Pro 5G will also enable cross device casting to a TV so you can watch high resolution footage captured on the device on a TV screen.

This can also be used to enjoy your favourite binge worthy shows and favourite movies on a larger screen.

TCL has introduced the LINKHUB 5G outdoor CPE which has high-gain antennas built in to pick up the best 5G signals across all bands from several kilometres away.

This makes it an ideal solution for people who live in areas with fewer base stations.

By simply inserting a 5G SIM card into the unit, users will be able to access download speeds of up to 4.67Gbps over a sub-6 5G transmission.

The unit can be pole or wall mounted and can withstand all kinds of weather thanks to its IP67-rated waterproof and dustproof housing along with lightning protection and an operating temperature between minus 40 degrees Celsius to 55 degrees Celsius.

The new MOVETIME Family Watch 2 builds on the success of the original and allows kids to stay connected and offer parents peace of mind.

Aimed at younger children who would be considered too young to take on the responsibility of a smartphone, the MOVETIME Family Watch 2 offers 4G voice and video calls along with text messages that can be enabled with a nano SIM card.

Parents can instantly communicate with their children and a one-touch SOS call button also gives youngsters the ability to call emergency contacts instantly when needed.

The device has a 1.54 inch display and is powered by a dedicated kids UI (user interface) which allows the child to personalise their home screen with colourful wallpapers.
