Ring releases its first indoor-only security camera – and its under $100

Video doorbell manufacturer Ring will release its first indoor security camera next month – and it will also be its most affordable product as well and will be priced at $99

The Ring Indoor Cam has a compact design and can be mounted anywhere inside your home.

It has 1080p full high definition video with motion zones, night vision and two audio along motion activated recording.

For added privacy, users can disable motion and audio recording from the Ring app. An indicator light will also show when the camera is recording.

“We’re excited to bring customers our most affordable camera yet and provide even more security options with Ring Indoor Cam and the all new Ring Stick Up Cam,” Jamie Siminoff, Ring founder and Chief Inventor, said.

“As a team of inventors, we are constantly pushing ourselves to identify innovative, cost effective and easy-to-use security products that make our neighbourhoods safer.

“With our growing line-up of both indoor and outdoor cams, varying in size and functionality, our customers have choices when determining how best to secure their homes.”

Ring has also announced the latest version of the Ring Stick Up Cam which can installed inside or out. It will be priced at $179 for the battery version and $259 for the solar version.

The Ring app allows users to link all of their Ring devices as well as devices from other leading brands for added convenience.
