Logitech has launched a new wireless ergonomic keyboard – the Wave Keys – that is designed to offer a more comfortable way of working and put less stress on your hands and wrists.
Wave Keys is a wireless keyboard that connects via Bluetooth to your Mac or PC in seconds.
It also includes a cushioned wrist-rest that can support a full day’s work.
We are spending more time in front of our computer than ever before – that time is expected to increase by 4.7 per cent over the next seven years according to a published market report by RationalStat.
Wave Keys gets its name from the shape of the keyboard which is slightly curved with elevated keys in the middle so your hands can rest naturally on the keyboard rather than being held completely flat which may cause pain and discomfort especially after long periods of work.
The Logitech Wave Keys keyboard is perfect for touch typists who use all their fingers when they type.
The shape and size of the keyboard means a touch typist’s fingers will move less.
It was designed this way to ensure your fingers have less distance to travel before hitting a key.
The design and integrated cushion place your arms, wrists and forearms in a more natural typing position.
And that comfort can help you stay productive for even longer periods throughout the day.
For crow peckers who only user two fingers – the Wave Keys are not for you. It will be even harder to type on the undulating keyboard.

The Wave Keys is also suitable for business use and is ideal for employees who want to stay ergo conscious and comfortable.
It has quite a compact footprint and the keys have a nice level of travel without being too noisy.
There is also a full number pad on the right hand side as well.
It is also suitable for multiple operating systems and devices including Mac and PCs and can also be connected to an iPad.
It is also possible to pair the keyboard to three devices and seamlessly and instantly switch between them at the press of a function key.
There are also keys that are allocated for Windows and Mac users including a start key for Windows that, when connected to a Mac becomes the option key.
Same deal for the alt key when using with Windows is the command key for Mac users.
It’s also possible with Wave Keys to set up shortcuts and create Smart Actions to improve your workflow.
The product is also certified carbon neutral. The plastic parts in Wave Keys include certified post-consumer recycled plastic.
