Motorola reveals pricing, availability of Xoom and Atrix

Motorola’s highly anticipated Xoom tablet and Atrix smartphone will be released through Telstra on May 24 and June 7 respectively.

Both are priced at $840 outright and can be also purchased on a 24-month data plus cap plan.

These devices are powered by Android and also work with a variety of new Motorola smart accessories.   

Xoom accessories include a HD dock, priced at $149, to connect the device to your TV and watch your video on a larger screen.

There’s also a custom Bluetooth keyboard for $79 with special Android shortcut keys.

The Motorola Atrix Android smartphoneFor the Atrix smartphone, Motorola has also created what it calls a Lapdock which has an 11.6-inch screen, full keyboard, trackpad and speakers.

Users simply dock the Atrix into a cradle in the Lapdock to provide the processing power and content for a full computing experience.

Optus says it will also be selling to the Motorola Xoom from mid to late June with pricing to be announced closer to launch.
