Microsoft announces Office 365 for individual users

Microsoft has today released a new Office 365 subscription designed for a single user who can use the powerful suite of applications on a PC or Mac.

Office 365 Personal brings you all the benefits of Office 365 Home – which is designed for households and offers five licences for PCs and Macs per year on a subscription – but for individuals.

It can be used on either a Mac or PC and a tablet and because it’s a subscription model users will always have the latest version of the entire Microsoft Office suite on their computer.

The Microsoft Office applications include Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access and Publisher.

There are already more than 3.5 million Office 365 subscribers and counting.

Office 365 Personal users also receive additional OneDrive cloud storage along with Skype calling minutes each month.

Office 365 Personal will be priced at $89.95 per year or $9 a month and will be available in the coming weeks.
