Apple launches new faster MacBook Air range at a lower price

macbookair13review1Apple has released the latest version of the MacBook Air and is offering customers more for less with a faster processor onboard and a lower price.

The thin and light MacBook Air 11-inch and 13-inch models now feature the power-efficient fourth generation Intel Core i5 and i7 dual core processors.

When combined with the new OS X Mavericks operating system users can count on an amazing 12 hours battery life on the 13-inch MacBook Air and nine hours from the 11-inch model.

The onboard flash storage also makes accessing content on the MacBook Air incredibly fast.

The entry level 11-inch MacBook Air is still at the same price of $1099 with the new 1.4Ghz Intel Core i5 processor onboard along with 4GB RAM and 128GB flash storage.

But the other models in the range are all now $50 cheaper.

The MacBook Air 11-inch and 13-inch models

These include the 11-inch MacBook Air with 256GB storage ($1,299), the 13-inch with 128GB storage ($1,199) and the 13-inch with 256GB storage ($1,399).

All of these models comes with the 1.4Ghz Intel Core i5 processor and 4GB RAM but it is possible to configure your own model and upgrade the processor to 1.7Ghz, the memory up to 8GB RAM and storage up to 512GB at extra cost.

These new MacBook Air models are all available now.
