Data, it turns out, is the number one thing after food we’d spend our last $10 on. With this in mind, popular prepaid provider Boost Mobile has come to the rescue with new plans that offer more value and more data.
Research commissioned by Boost Mobile has revealed data is like oxygen for millenials with 40 per cent suffering a fear of running out of data.
There are now new $10 and $30 UNLTD+ prepaid plans.
The $10 UNLTD+ is a plan that runs for seven days with 1GB data and unlimited calls and texts.
Boost Mobile’s $30 UNLTD+ plan has the highest total data allowance of comparable pre-paid recharges in Australia.
The $30 UNLTD+ plan has unlimited calls and texts along with 3GB of data. But the sweetener here is the bonus 1GB of data to use every weekend.
This means customers will receive a total of 7GB of data for 28 days and avoid having to hunt for public wi-fi towards the end of their coverage period.
“Once again, we’re listening to our customers to improve our offers and give them more of what they want,” said Ian Blackhall, Chief Marketing Officer, Boost Mobile.
“We know our customers want more but we didn’t expect that 44% of Australian women would abstain from sex for a month in exchange for free data. So we are giving them what they asked for, and ‘treating’ them accordingly allowing them to live their connected lives free from data fears.”
Boost Mobile also offers $40 and $50 UNLTD+ plans with 5GB and 7GB of data respectively and both offering the same additional 1GB of data per weekend.
All of the Boost Mobile plans run on Telstra’s 4G network and will be available to new and existing customers.
