One of the standout audio products Tech Guide saw at the recent Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas was the Sennheiser RS 220 wireless headphones.
These headphones offer the same high-end audio quality that is usually only achievable with a cable thanks to advances in Sennheiser’s wireless transmission technology.
The RS 220 is made of quality materials for easy listening and comfortable extended wear and it’s all without the tangle of cables.
Sennheiser’s RS 220 comes with a transmitter that includes optical, coaxial and analog inputs to connect to your audio system.
The signal is then beamed to the headphones without compression or loss of audio qualty.
The Sennheiser headphones will work with a range up to 100m (line of sight) so it literally frees the listener beyond the length of their traditional headphone’s cable and gives them the freedom to enjoy their music anywhere in their home.
The cradle also functions as a recharging station for the headphones which contain rechargeable batteries so listeners will never be left with flat batteries.
The Sennheiser RS220 wireless headphones will be available in Australia in the coming weeks with exact pricing yet to be determined.
