LG’s 2019 range of soundbars to offer immersive home theatre audio

In 2019, LG will not only offer stunning OLED TVs for our eyes but also impressive soundbars for our ears as well with a line-up of products created in collaboration with Meridian Audio.

The company’s new soundbars have been designed to deliver superior audio quality as well as offering a modern and sleek look to fit in your home.

LG has worked once again with Meridian on three of its new soundbars – the SL10YG, SL9YG and SL8YG.
And the partnership on this occasion goes well beyond fine tuning with both companies engineering sound delivery for enhanced listening experience.

Meridian brings its Bass and Space technology to the table to improve the soundstage and surround the listener in rich uncompromising sound that is lifelike and immersive.

Meridian’s Upmix technology can also improve the sound field while upgrading clarity and eliminating distortion.

These high-end soundbars support both Dolby Atmos and DTS.X so users can enjoy realistic and enveloping surround sound that will appear to be coming from multiple directions.

They also support high resolution audio thanks to an advanced processing algorithm they can upscale conventional file formats and output at close to studio quality.

Also on board the new LG soundbars is AI and smart connectivity plus voice recognition through the built-in Google Assistant.

This means users can control the LG soundbar and receive information just by talking to the device.

We will also be possible to control other Google Assistant-enabled smart products with voice commands as well.

On the design side, the 2019 LG soundbars look as good as they sound.

At only 5.7cm deep, the LG SL9 can be flush mounted on the wall to save space and offer a clean and uncluttered appearance.
