JBL products add punch to home theatre experience

jblthumbspeaker systems

JBL, well-known for creating home and professional speakers, have created two new home theatre solutions.

The first is a compact system that will deliver a stunning 5.1 surround audio experience through small speakers that deliver a big sound.

The other combines a 2.1 channel soundbar and wireless subwoofer for those who don’t have the room for a larger system.

JBL Cinema 500

Bigger isn’t always necessarily better when it comes to home theatre speakers and the JBL Cinema 500, while compact, can still pack a punch.

Each of the four satellite speakers and centre speaker have two PolyPlas cones and Titanium-laminate tweeters and feature 100 watts of power.

The subwoofer offers 150 watts of power to add penetrating and even bass to the mix.

Each of the satellites and centre speaker can also be fixed to the wall with the supplied mounts.

The JBL Cinema 500 is priced at $1259.

For those who want a simple and less intrusive solution the JBL SB300 is ideal.

The soundbar offers a 2.1 channel system and houses two 55mm midrange transducers and a 25mm dome tweeter for each one and is powered by 50 watts of amplification.

It is the first time JBL has created a soundbar product and utilises the company’s knowledge and experience to produce an impressive sound from a small product.

Also part of the package is a 200mm 100 watt subwoofer which connects wirelessly to the soundbar so there’s no cables you’ll trip over on the lounge room.

The JBL SB300 is available now and is priced at $1259.

Both of the JBL products can be purchased from most Harvey Norman, Domayne and Clive Peeters stores.
