Bose has unveiled its latest addition to its SoundLink Bluetooth portable speaker line-up – the SoundLink Flex – which has a rugged design and superior audio quality so you can hear your music anywhere.
The Bose SoundLink Flex is designed to go anywhere and, with the IP67 rating, it is waterproof and dustproof.
In fact, it will go right on playing if you drop it in water because it floats.
And being dustproof you can also take it to the beach.
The Bose SoundLink Flex is built from strong silicone and has a powder-coated steel grille so it can handle drops and scrapes.
Its ergonomic design also makes it easy to hold and control via the physical buttons on the top edge.
Under the hood is Position IQ so the sound is adjusted and optimised based on how it is being held or resting whether it’s upright, lying flat or hanging from its handle.
And with the typical Bose sound quality, your music is going to sound crisp and clear.
It has a custom-designed transducer to offer strong sound with deep bass while the DSP (digital signal processing) technologies all come in to play to provide optimal sound quality.
If you have more than one SoundLink Flex speaker, you can pair them all together to enable Party Mode.
It’s also possible to connect the speaker to a Bose Smart Soundbar so you can hear the TV from another room.
If you receive a phone call, the SoundLink Flex is also a speakerphone while connected to your phone via Bluetooth.
On the battery side, the speaker can play for up to 12 hours on a single charge.
The Bose SoundLink Flex Bluetooth speaker will be priced at $249.95 and will go on sale on April 1.
