Logitech MX Anywhere 2 mouse review – control your laptop on any surface

Logitech knows everything about making a great computer mouse and they’ve taken all of that knowledge and all of those features and packed them into the MX Anywhere 2 – a smaller device you can take anywhere.

For those who like using a mouse when they are out and about like us, the Logitech MX Anywhere 2 brings desktop control when you’re using your laptop.

The device uses Darkfield laser tracking which means the mouse can be used on just about any surface including glass and high-gloss surfaces that usually bamboozle other models.

It’s small enough to fit in the palm of your hand so it’s not going to take up much room in your bag.

It is 10cm long, 6.2cm and 3.5cm high and weighs just 106g.

The MX Anywhere 2 is also sculpted to provide comfortable use.

There are three buttons on top along with a scroll wheel plus two other buttons on the left side.

And they are all programmable using the companion software for Mac and PC.

The USB receiver is hardly noticeable when plugged in to your laptop

Users can adjust the scroll speed, enable buttons to reproduce specific Windows ands OS X commands and gestures and re-assign the mouse buttons to suit your needs.

It connects to your laptop using the company’s smallest ever Bluetooth receiver which is hardly visible when it’s plugged in to a USB port.

The onboard Easy Switch technology makes it easy to pair the MX Anywhere 2 to up three devices and switch between them with the flick of a button.

And there’s no need to worry about changing batteries.

The Logitech MX Anywhere 2 mouse has a built-in rechargeable battery

The MX Anywhere 2 has a built-in rechargeable battery that can run for up to two months on a single charge.

And if you are out of juice, simply connect the USB cable to your computer’s port for a minute and that will provide enough power for an hour of use.

Logitech’s MX Anywhere 2 mouse delivers everything the discerning user would expect from a desktop mouse and packs into a small, easy-to-use, easy-to-carry device.

The fact it can work anywhere, including on glass desks that seem to be used in every hotel room, is also a huge plus.

It can connect to three computers and easily switch between them

It is a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for and it has the quality to show for it.

And the fact you don’t need to buy batteries for it will help you get back some of your money anyway.
