Hisense has announced the pricing and availability of its 2022 line-up of smart TVs – its largest range to date – which includes a new OLED model, improved ULED, Mini LED and Laser TV.
The launch event was held before Game 1 of the State of Origin series at Accor Stadium – Hisense is a major sponsor of the NRL after all.
Hisense has taken Australians demand for larger screens into account with models ranging from 55-inch up to a massive 98-inch within the ULED range and up to 120-inch with the Laser TV.
“In 2022, the viewing habits of Australians have evolved once again,” says head of marketing, Hisense Australia, Nick Peters.
“We have seen greater demand for bigger screens, immersive, all-encompassing viewing and audio experiences, and increasingly diverse content offerings available at the touch of a button.
“Our all-new range of TVs exceeds these expectations. We’re delivering bigger screens, equipped with the latest technology, without compromising on quality or price.
“From our enhanced Mini-LED offering to our redefined OLED experience, and the wow factor of our TriChroma Laser TV – the range emphasises our reputation as a manufacturer who delivers consumers the latest and greatest technology across a range of products to suit every home.”
Hisense offers a range of technologies across its TV range – but one thing they all have in common is stunning 4K UHD picture quality.
The entire ULED and Mini LED range features Hisense’s Quantum Colour Technology which can produce impressive brightness along with incredible contrast thanks to Full Array Local Dimming and Smooth Motion technologies so that no matter what you’re watching will look great whether it’s a movie or a sporting event.
The ULED range also has HDMI 2.1 as standard which will be music to gamers’ ears so they can enjoy a top shelf gaming experience at 120Hz which supports the latest gaming consoles.
The Hisense TV’s also have a dedicated Game Mode with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Automatic Low Latency Mode).
Also onboard, is Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos sound so you’re getting the complete experience from realistic and natural images and clear audio.
Hisense is bringing back OLED to the 2022 line-up with two models – the X8HAU and the X9HAU – which will be available in 55-inch and 65-inch.
The X9HAU offers a 360-degree audio experience which comes from the dedicated subwoofer and two upfiring speakers and the Sonic Screen which acts as the centre speaker for clearer dialogue.
If your attitude is “go big or go home” then you’ll need to look at the 120-inch TriChroma Laser TV (120L9G) which produces high resolution true-to-life pictures on a grand scale.
The product includes Hisense’s proprietary TriChroma X-Fusion Laser Light technology so you can set up a cinema-like experience in your home when paired with the included 120-inch ambient light rejection screen.
Another improvement in the Hisense range is its proprietary operating system VIDAA U6 which brings the rich offering of content from streaming apps to your fingertips.
The system allows customers to set individual profiles and cleverly curates a personalised home page for you to make finding your content even faster and easier.
Hisense customers will see new additions including Apple TV+ and Disney+ on the platform along with popular streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Kayo Sport, Twitch, Paramount Plus, BritBox and Google Play Movies.
The VIDAA smartphone companion app makes it easy to set up the TV and then control it from your device like a traditional remote control.
The Hisense range of 2022 TVs will go on sale from the end of June through major electronics retailers across Australia.
