Apple has rolled out a significant update to the Apple TV 4K to make it more powerful than ever and offer even higher cinematic quality.
The new Apple TV 4K is running the A15 bionic chip to offer faster performance and smoother gameplay.
There is now support for HDR10+ alongside the existing support for Dolby Vision so your TV shows and movies offer the best quality on your TV.
On the audio side, Apple TV 4K also supports Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital 7.1 or Dolby Digital 5.1 for an immersive surround sound experience.
The new Apple TV 4K will start at $219 and will go on sale on Friday November 4.

The new Apple TV 4K is available in two versions – wi-fi only with 64GB of storage and wi-fi plus Ethernet with support for Gigabit Ethernet for even faster networking and streaming.
The Siri Remote offers even faster and more precise way to navigate the user interface and access award winning content on Apple TV+ along with thousands of movies and TV shows through direct premium subscription to popular streaming services.
Apple TV 4K fits seamlessly into the Apple ecosystem so customers can access their Apple Music accounts, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and Apple Fitness+.
Apple TV 4K also connects to compatible smart home devices including cameras, lights, shades and switches and put them all into the HomeKit dashboard so they can be monitored and controlled through your TV.
The upgrade to the A15 Bionic chip means there is no longer a need for an internal fan so the design is more compact and 30 per cent more power efficient.
Apple TV 4K with Siri remote starts at $219 and will be available on Friday November 4.
The Siri Remote, included with the new Apple TV 4K, can be purchased separately for $89.
