Panasonic unveils 2017 TV range which includes four OLED models

Panasonic has unveiled its 2017 TV range that will include, for the first time, four 4K OLED televisions which will deliver a high quality visual and audio experience for your home.

And it’s a case of go big or go home with the Master OLED EZ1000 series which will be highlighted with a 77-inch model (due in November) plus a 65-inch and 55-inch models (both set for release in July).

Panasonic will bring its 79-year history of TV research and development to the wondrous technology of OLED which delivers true black levels and stunning colour.

The company will also release 4K Pro HDR LED TVs (EZ950 series) along with entry-level 4K HDR Ultra HD (EX600 series).

OLED offers spectacular quality because each pixel provides its own light and the result is amazing and accurate colour and industry-leading contrast.

There will be four OLED TVs in the Panasonic range in the 55-inch, 65-inch and 77-inch sizes with prices starting at $4,999.

The Master OLED series (77-inch and 65-inch) have Panasonic’s Absolute Black Filter to reduce reflections and maintain the depth of the black levels.

On the audio side, Panasonic is also delivering high quality with the Dynamic Blade Speaker developed with Technics engineers to tune the sound.

Each audio system houses 14 speaker units including eight woofers, four squawkers, two tweeters and a quad passive radiator to enhance the bass.

Panasonic’s 4K Pro HDR technology deliver 6-colour reproduction with three colours complementing the three primary colours which combine to display natural, rich colours.

And like the OLED TV range, Panasonic’s 4K Pro LED also includes HDR (high dynamic range) to reveal even more detail in the lighter and darker areas of the picture.

The TVs will also have a 4K HDR Gaming mode to not only look great but also reduce input lag.

The Panasonic 4K Pro HDR LED EX780 series will be available in 58-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch screen sizes.

The Panasonic 4K HDR EX600 entry level TVs have solid credentials with a 100Hz Super Bright panel along with Advanced Colour Processing and Adaptive Backlight Dimming so the TV can display HDR and HDR10 content.

The EX600 series will be available in 43-inch, 49-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch screen sizes.

All of Panasonic’s TV will include the My Home Screen 2.0 smart interface which is customisable and intuitive with easy access to content from Netflix, Amazon, Bigpond and YouTube.
