A popular way to use the Galaxy SmartTag2 is to attach it to your luggage. Lost luggage anxiety can now be a thing of the past, so if you made it to your destination and your bags didn’t, you can easily check their location.
Got a tight flight connection? The Galaxy SmartTag2 will tell you instantly if your bags made the flight. They can even send you an alert when they are close so you can keep an eye out for them on the baggage carousel when you arrive at your destination.
If the valuables attached to the Galaxy SmartTag2 are lost or stolen, the location can be established when it is picked up by nearby connected Samsung smartphones. Essentially, the Galaxy SmartTag2 acts like a mobile phone on a network and the nearby Samsung smartphones are the towers of that network.
Galaxy SmartTag 2 also has a Lost Mode that can make misplaced items easier to find. With Lost Mode, users can add their contact information to Galaxy SmartTag2[6].
If anyone discovers your item with the Galaxy SmartTag2 attached, they can use their phone to scan the tag and read the owner’s message and contact information. For example, if a Galaxy SmartTag2 is attached to your luggage – anyone who finds your bag can immediately see your information and phone number.
Additionally, the Compass View feature[7] on the Galaxy SmartTag2 will point you in the direction of your lost item and tell you how far away it is.
