Roborock unveils S7 MaxV Ultra robot vacuum that cleans your floors and itself

The robotic vacuum cleaner just got a whole lot smarter with the release of the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra which offers a real hands-off cleaning solution for your home.

The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra was unveiled at a glittering event at Hayman Island where the product’s impressive abilities were demonstrated.

Roborock wants you to spend more time relaxing and doing the things you enjoy and leave the cleaning to the S7 MaxV Ultra.

The robotic vacuum cleaner has a docking station that includes three individual bins to store waste collected, clean water and the dirty water.

The unit has an auto empty function which takes the dust collected from the machine into the dock which means you have up to seven weeks of maintenance free cleaning.

It also can mop your floors and cover up to 300 square metres of floor space.

The unit has sonic vibration mopping which vibrates at up to 3000 times per minute and uses less water to clean your floor.

Once the mopping cycle has been completed, the S7 MaxV Ultra can then perform an auto mop wash once it returns to the station.

The S7 MaxV Ultra also has an automatic sensor to tell the difference between hard floors and carpets an alternate back to vacuum mode.

On the vacuuming side, the unit has a high suction power of 5100pa (pascal pressure unit) so it can pick up any dust and debris along with food spills on the floor.

The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra can also charge 30 per cent faster than its competitors and, with its longer lasting battery, it has longer cleaning sessions with reduced charging time required.

Not only can the unit mop and vacuum your floors, but it can also detect objects thanks to its turreted LIDAR scanner and front facing camera that helps with navigation.

The robot vacuum creates a floor plan of your home and memorises the layout of your house, so it won’t miss a single spot every time it cleans.

And with auto object detection that can label the objects it finds on the floor; it means the machine won’t be tangled and interrupted while it is cleaning.

It even has a night vision sensor so it can go about its cleaning routine while you’re sleeping and still detect any object in its path and clean the areas in your house that need the most attention.

The onboard camera provides a live stream which can be accessed through the companion app on your smart phone.

The app also makes it possible to remotely control the robot from anywhere.

The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which includes the auto empty docking station, is priced at $2,699 and is available from Godfreys.

The S7 Max V is also available on its own for $1,599.
