Apple unveils new Apple Watch bands and Clips app to create videos to share

Apple has released new bands for Apple Watch and a new app called Clips that makes it easier to create videos on iPhone and iPad to share with friends, family and social media.

These announcements were made the same day Apple released the (PRODUCT)RED iPhone 7 and the new 9.7-inch iPad.

The new collection of watch band includes sports bands in pebble, azure and camelia and Nike Sport Bands in anthracite/black, pure platinum/white and volt/black.

All of these bands will be available in both 38mm and 42mm sizes.

There are also new Apple Watch Hermes bands including a 38mm Double Tour in Bleu Zéphyr Epsom leather, 38mm Double Buckle Cuff in Fauve Barenia leather. 42mm Single Tour in Lime Epsom leather and 42mm Single Tour in Colvert Swift leather.

Clips is a free app Apple has developed that unleashes your creativity to make fun videos with effects and filters and add one of dozens of music soundtracks that automatically adjusts to the length of the clip.

Clips also includes Live Titles – a feature which make it easy to create animated captions and titles just by using their voice.

And it’s really easy to use.

There are no timelines and complicated editing tools with users able to touch and hold a single button to shoot live video and add photos from your library before adding artistic touches like filters and speech bubbles.

Videos made with Clips can be sent to family and friends and also shared directly from your device to popular social media sites like Instagram, Facebook and YouTube as well as direct messaging.

Clips will be available for free from the App Store in April and can be used with the iPhone 5S and later as well as all iPad Air and iPad Pro models.
