We’re connecting from every corner of our homes on smartphones and tablets and Netgear’s new Wi-Fi Booster for Mobile can strengthen your wireless coverage.
The WN1000RP has an unobtrusive wall plug design and is simple to set up and link to your existing router to boost the signal into the area of the home or office where it is located.
It’s as easy as pressing the WPS (wireless protection Set-up) button on your browser and the WPS button on the WN1000RP to make the connection.
There are even LED lights on the device which can indicate the best area to place the booster for optimal coverage.
And set up can be completed on your mobile device’s browser so there’s no need to insert a CD into your computer or install any software.
The Netgear Wi-Fi Booster increases the reach of the 2.4Ghz signal so users can easily connect to the internet on their mobile devices and even stream content.
Enhancing their home wi-fi connection means users reduce their 3G/4G data usage and avoid any excess charges of they go over there data limit.
It supports wireless 802.11b/g/n standards and will work with any existing wi-fi router or service provider gateway.
Netgear’s Wi-Fi Booster works with all security standards including WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, mixed mode and WEP.
The Netgear WN1000RP is available now and is priced at $69.
