Optus has released new flexible home broadband bundles that will be offering customers unlimited data and unlimited calls to mobiles and fixed lines.
The company says there are no catches or restrictive terms which have in the past been buried in the fine print.
The new plans are called My Home and My Office and can be taken over 24 months or on a month to months basis for an additional $10 per month.
Martin Mercer, Managing Director, Fixed for Optus said: “Our customers told us they were sick of rules, hidden fees, lock-in contracts and a lack of choice in broadband.”
“These Optus My Home bundles and My Office bundle plans show we’ve listened and will now give customers the freedom to choose unlimited broadband bundles on a network they know and trust, with a level of flexibility, control and certainty around their spend that others don’t provide.
“These bundles really do take the complexity out of broadband for our customers – just as the launch of Optus My Plan did for mobile earlier this year.”
“Optus is the only player in the market to offer this level of flexibility in broadband bundles with the option to do away with lock-in contracts and even move up and down between plans when you need to without being charged.”
Optus says there are no sneaky upfront charges or fees for your modem, delivery and installation.
Users can also disconnect and existing service and relocate for free in your home of office.
There are also no charges for customers who want to move or down on their existing plan.
The My Home and My Office services will only be available on ULL, HFC (hybrid fibre coaxial) and fixed NBN connections.
These plans offer families and businesses the peace of mind they will never go over their data or call limit.
The Unlimited My Office and MyHome packages with unlimited calls and data are priced at $115 per month.
Customers can also bundle Optus Fetch TV packs, additional calling packs to call overseas numbers plus speed packages to achieve up to 100Mbps download speeds.
