Hisense unveils its new 2018 ULED TV range and pricing

Hisense has unveiled its new 2018 range of ULED TVs which include several improvements and innovations and follows the strong Australian sales the company enjoyed in 2017.

Hisense, one of the major sponsors for 2018 soccer World Cup, has responded this year with a strong line-up of models that provide both value and quality.

The new Series 7, Series 8 and Series 9 Hisense TVs will arrive in retail stores in the coming weeks.

Pricing for the Series 7 starts at $1,499 (50-inch), Series 8 at $3,699 (65-inch) and Series 9 at $4,499 (65-inch).

“We’ve experienced the strongest demand ever in the Australian market for our premium ULED 4K products,” said Andre Iannuzzi, Head of Marketing at Hisense Australia.
“We’re continuing to build on this growth by taking our feature-rich ULED range to the next level, expanding our UHD Premium and Quantum Dot technology offering; to provide Australian consumers with more choice.”

The flagship model is the 75-inch Series 9 which has improved picture quality thanks to Prime Array Backlight technology which creates more than 1000 dimming zones, stunning HDR (high dynamic range) and a peak 2500-nit brightness.

Quantum Dot colour technology can also be found on the Hisense Series 8 and Series 9 televisions to create lifelike colours and images.

And of course the Hisense ULED technology, the result of more than 50 worldwide patents, is the secret sauce across the company’s entire television range from the flagship Series 9 all the way down to the entry-level Series 7.

The latest ULED range also includes the VIDAA U 2.5 Smart TV platform so you can customise the viewing experience to your taste and have your favourite apps at your fingertips.

Also updated is the mobile app RemoteNOW which allows users to control their TV as well as customise their favourite apps, channels and inputs right from their smart phone.

Users can also cast their favourite photos and videos from their mobile device to the TV screen so sharing your holiday snaps and slideshows for your friends and family is now easier than ever.

Also on board is a new Sports Mode so you can enjoy your favourite sporting events with a customised viewing experience which can adapt to fast moving sports like rugby league and football.

And Hisense has also looked after gamers so they can get the most out of their 4K gaming consoles with Game Mode.

This bypasses upscaling and other picture enhancements, which the latest platforms don’t require, and focuses on giving players a faster response time so you can get the edge when playing online.

“Whether you’re ready to upgrade to a 65-inch panel or a larger than life 75-inch panel, Hisense’s Series 9 is our most impressive TV,” says Chris Mayer, Hisense product specialist.

“Our TVs produce the most accurate depth of colour and brightness while maintaining superior black levels.

“This, coupled with the integration of VIDAA U 2.5 and the new RemoteNOW app, has resulted in a high quality, seamless viewing experience.”

Hisense also plans to release its very first OLED model in Australia in Q3.
