Epson unveils new range of EcoTank printers with ink that lasts for two years

If you’re tired of having to constantly replace your inkjet cartridges then Epson has the solution after launching its latest EcoTank printer range which included enough ink to last two years.

The new line-up, which has twice the yield of its predecessors, include the Expression EcoTank home models, the WorkForce EcoTank printers for small to medium businesses as well as two new photo printers.

Each of these multifunction printers include integrated ink tanks which can be filled easily with the included ink bottles which will last two years before the tanks need a refill.

“Existing EcoTank models have an ink tank design on the side of the printer. The new models in the range have integrated ink tanks on the front and clever new, non-spill ink bottles,” said Bruce Bealby, general manager – sales and marketing, Epson Australia’s Consumer Division.

“The new range is smaller in size, better looking and more efficient with some models now boasting significantly increased page yields in the box.

“We are also soon to launch the ground breaking new ET-7700 and ET-7750 A4 and A3 5-colour EcoTank photo printers – a huge bonus for people who print lots of photos.”

The new Epson EcoTank Expression ET-2610 has enough ink to print 4,000 pages in black and white along with 6,500 pages in colour while the ET-2700 and ET-2750 can print up to 6,500 mono pages and 5,200 pages in colour.

When you move up to the EcoTank ET-3700 this yield more than doubles to 14,000 pages in black and 11,200 pages in colour while the new ET-7700 and ET-7750 photo printers can churn out up to 14,000 mono pages and 9,000 colour pages plus thousands of 6 x 4 photos.

And it’s now even easier to check your ink supply with the tanks now positioned on the front of the printer instead of on the side like the previous models.

The Epson range also has a more compact design and a simpler user interface and menu system.

The new Epson EcoTank printers are priced at $399 (ET-2610), $449 (ET-2650), $449 (ET-2700), $499 (ET-2750), $549 (ET-3700), $499 (ET-4500), $699 (ET-4750), $799 (ET-7700) and $999 (ET-7750).
