D-Link launches two affordable wi-fi security cameras for your connected home

D-Link has launched two new affordable smart home security cameras that offer high definition video quality, advanced monitoring capabilities and wide viewing angles.

The DCS-8000LH Mini HD Wi-Fi camera and DCS-8100LH HD 180 Degree Wi-Fi camera also form part of D-Link’s Connected Home series of devices.

These new cameras can be connected or controlled using Google Assistant, IFTTT (If This Then That) and Amazon Alexa for an even more personalised smart home experience.

The DSC-8000LH can keep an eye on their homes through crisp 720p HD video and 120-degree wide-angle lens.

It also has a built-in IR LED to provide 5m of night vision in complete darkness.

Users can receive automatic push alert notifications so they are always aware of what’s going on in their home or office.

The device itself is only 9.7cm tall which makes it easy to place anywhere in your home whether it’s on a shelf or a countertop.

The camera has 4X digital zoom plus cloud recording and all of the camera’s features can be accessed through the mydlink app on your smartphone.

Set-up of the Mini HD Wi-Fi camera takes just minutes on your existing wireless network so you can start monitoring right away.

D-Link ANZ MD Graeme Reardon said: “The Mini HD Wi-Fi Camera is classic D-Link home security – a stylistic and aesthetically pleasing design that allows it to easily fit in with its surroundings while remaining packed with all the necessary features for any home or space that you need to keep an extra set of eyes on.”

The D-link HD 180-degree DCS-8100LH Wi-Fi camera and D-Link DCS-8000LH HD Wi-Fi camera are both available now and priced at $199.95 and $149.95 respectively.
