Celebrate Australia Day with Apple Music’s playlist of the top 100 Australian songs

There are plenty of ways to celebrate Australia Day but no matter which way you choose you’ll need a good soundtrack and Apple Music has come up with a playlist of the Top 100 Australian songs.

These songs have been compiled by Apple Music’s Australian staff and not by a computer algorithm.

This “hand-crafted” playlist of songs is in no particular order so the songs aren’t numbered. In fact, you can choose to shuffle the list to hear them in random order.

The songs are taken from several eras so the list offers a diverse range of artists and musical genres.

Artists includes Sherbet, AC/DC, Pete Murray, Bee Gees, Kylie Minogue, Australian Crawl and INXS along with Flume, Wolfmother, Delta Goodrem, The Temper Trap, John Farnham, Midnight Oil, Empire of the Sun, Cold Chisel and Gotye.

Some bands like AC/DC, Cold Chisel, INXS, Midnight Oil, Australian Crawl, Crowded House have more than one song on the list.

It’s a who’s who of Australian music and an entertaining selection of music that will keep you entertained for hours.

It will also make you proud that Australia has produced some amazing talent.

You can listen to the Apple Music Top 100 Australian Songs playlist here.
